Main tasks and responsibilities
As our new VP-European Sales you will be part of the extended management team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy in Europe to maximize our innovative neurostimulation implant's growth and market presence. You will lead the sales and marketing team, maintain key customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. You will work closely with senior management and the research and development departments to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and fulfill the needs of our customers. You will represent Precisis GmbH at conferences and events and ensure that the planned budget is met.
Strategy and Market Development
- Market knowledge and analytical skills: An in-depth understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs to make informed strategic decisions.

- Ability to innovate and adapt: The willingness and ability to develop innovative approaches and adapt quickly to market changes in order to secure competitive advantages.
- Developing new markets: Proven track record in bringing a new therapy successfully into the respective market. It is important to have experience in responding to customer requests for clinical evidence for both reimbursement and therapeutic evidence.

- Leadership experience: Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales goals.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to set clear goals, provide feedback, and inspire the team.

Customer, Partner, and KOL-Management
- Networking skills: Ability to build and maintain a strong professional network to foster long-term customer relationships. Identify the KOL and KOL networks to partner with in our strategic markets. Build an action plan with their involvement and collaboration. It is a great advantage to already have a strong network in DACH/EU within neurosurgery and epilepsy. It is important to have experience of working with distributors within Europe and to work with the Marketing and Regulatory Affairs team to open up new markets.

- Quality Management: Experience in quality management and the regulatory requirements in the field of medical devices (MPG, ISO13485, HWG) to ensure that all products comply with the established standards and regulations.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
Budget planning, monitoring, adherence to the budget
- Financial literacy: In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis to create accurate budgets and monitor the business's financial health.

Qualifications and skills
Education and training
- A degree in business administration, marketing, medicine or a related field. An MBA or comparable qualification is an advantage. Confident handling and knowledge of ISO13485, Medical Devices Act and Therapeutic Advertising Act are prerequisites.”
Business Experience
- Several years (>5 years) of experience in senior commercial positions, ideally in medical technology with a focus on the field of neurostimulation or a related industry.
- 10 years of experience in leading sales teams and developing market strategies is essential.
- Proven experience working with start-ups and/or high-growth companies
Professional skills
- Relevant knowledge in the areas of market development, marketing and product management
- Experience with partner networks and work with global distributors.
- In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the commercial sector.
- Knowledge in the handling and application of commercially available management systems (such as: CRM, ERP, Jira)
