First EASEE® Patient in Italy Successfully Implanted

Padova, September 17, 2025 - At Azienda Ospedale-Università of Padova, a patient in Italy has received the EASEE® system for the first time. The procedure was performed by neurosurgeon Prof. Andrea Landi in close collaboration with neurologist Dr. Filippo Dainese. Both are recognized experts in the treatment of focal epilepsy.

This first implantation marks the beginning of a new phase in the care of people with drug-resistant epilepsy in Italy. The collaboration with AION Biotech S.r.l. now makes it possible to offer the technology to Italian clinics and patients.
